destiny faith center

Destiny has been bathed in prayer since 2023. A handful of individuals sought the face of God and believed that an online fellowship would be a creative way to reach the world with the Gospel.

Pastors Lonny and Kim have dedicated their lives to the work of the Lord. Pastor Lonny has been serving as a Pastor since 1981 and continues with his lovely wife, Kim. They understand that any ministry is not dependent on an individual, but upon the leading and anointing of the Holy Spirit (Psalm 127:1). Destiny is their third personally planted church. This one serves a different purpose and has a different structure.

Why Integrate an Online Church That Blends Into Home Fellowships

The world has changed dramatically in the way people connect, learn, and build community. Many people today are more comfortable interacting online than in traditional settings, and countless others are unable to attend a physical church due to location, work schedules, health challenges, or family responsibilities. Starting as an online church allows us to meet people where they already are—on their phones, computers, and tablets—so they can experience worship, Bible teaching, prayer, and Christian community without barriers.

But we know spiritual growth doesn’t stop with simply watching a service online. The Bible describes the church as a body of believers who share life, encourage one another, and serve others in love. That kind of deep giving relationship is best experienced in smaller, personal gatherings—what we call home fellowships.

Our vision is that the online church will serve as a bridge, connecting people to faith and community, regardless of where they begin. Over time, we help them form local groups that meet in homes for prayer, Bible study, worship, and outreach. These fellowships:

  • Build authentic relationships that go beyond screens.
  • Provide spiritual accountability and support for everyday life.
  • Allow people to serve their neighborhoods and share God’s love in practical ways.
  • Multiply naturally, reaching more people with the Gospel as each group grows and new ones form.

In short, the online church opens the front door wide for anyone to come in, while home fellowships help people grow closer to God and closer to each other. The goal is not just to gather viewers but to make disciples who live out their faith in real, connected community—both online and in person—so that the message of Jesus can impact lives everywhere.
